Unfortunately, my experience with this recruiter was extremely disappointing. Communication was consistently poor, and I often felt that I was doing more of the work to keep the process moving. I reached out multiple times for basic updates and clarity, yet repeatedly received little to no communication. What was especially frustrating was being given expectations and assurances about the opportunity that were not ultimately followed through on. I was initially very excited about the opportunity based on the information and enthusiasm communicated to me, only to be left feeling that the expectations set for me did not match the follow-through. I remained professional and patient throughout the process and made several attempts to communicate appropriately. When I finally addressed my concerns directly and professionally via email, I received a response within approximately minutes. This was particularly frustrating given that my previous professional follow-ups had gone unanswered. The sudden response after I raised my concerns highlighted just how inconsistent the communication had been. Recruiters represent both candidates and companies, and consistent, transparent communication is extremely important. Even when there is no update or a company decides not to move forward, candidates deserve timely and honest communication rather than having to repeatedly chase for answers. Overall, I would not recommend this recruiter or the company as she is the face and based on my experience the lack of communication, follow-through, and transparency significantly overshadowed what initially appeared to be a promising opportunity.
